📱 WhatsApp Etiquette
⚠ DO NOT appeal for tickets or post sales on the WhatsApp group…we have 600+ on it and everyone wants the same thing. Please keep the chat on topic: Ticket Exchange only.
✓ DO leave feedback — it’s really helpful for our new members to know that the Exchange is legitimate.
✗ DO NOT leave messages for Admin in the group chat. We like the banter but there are only 3 Admin volunteers (Gordon Forbes, Carey McEvoy, Gill Taggart), who all have day jobs so can’t track through the chat history. Just drop one of us a private message please.

Please reach out via Private Message to an Admin. We will answer questions, reply to emails and update the website between 6–9pm only.
The platform is managed by 3 Admin volunteers (Gordon Forbes, Carey McEvoy, Gill Taggart), who all have day jobs as well!
Open the group chat, tap on the group name at the top, and then scroll down to the “Members” section — admins will be indicated with the label “Admin”.
The contact number for the seller is on the ticket list on the website — please reach out directly to the seller on WhatsApp.
Do not use SMS, as this incurs additional charges for some people.
SSC tickets are not restricted from transfers, so this works exactly the same as any other transfer.
Yes, you can still list — but please contact Admin so we can note on your ticket that it is pending receipt.
We will not facilitate an exchange of money unless you have the ticket in your FIFA account.
The link was included in your order confirmation email — please check your spam folder if you can’t find it.
If you still can’t locate the email, contact an Admin via private message. Do not post on the Group WhatsApp, as this may not be seen by Admin.
Once you have agreed an exchange, contact Admin Gordon and create a WhatsApp group with both the buyer and seller present. Gordon will act as the middleman in the deal for your protection.
After the Exchange closes, we cannot facilitate ticket transfers. We will keep the ticket list on the site unless a seller asks us to remove their listing before we close.
We suggest you ask for images of the seller’s or buyer’s passport, and ask in the WhatsApp group if anyone has previously dealt with a seller and can provide feedback.
- Create a group chat with the seller, buyer and Gordon (Admin).
- Post a photo of the ticket(s) in question from your FIFA account.
- When everyone is happy, send the ticket to Gordon’s FIFA account email (he will provide this).
- Gordon will confirm the ticket has been received.
- The buyer then sends the funds.
- Gordon releases the ticket to the buyer. 🍻
⚠️ Use the FIFA website and NOT the FIFA app — this will avoid delays to transfers. ⚠️
To accept the ticket ⚠️
You will receive a confirmation email notifying you that a ticket has been sent to you. Log in to your FIFA ticketing account — there is no app now.
Click on the menu button (top left) and select Homepage. Once that opens, scroll down and your ticket should be there to accept.
We set up Ticket-Exchange with three aims:
- To find some tickets for Scotland fans.
- To help those Scotland fans avoid scammers.
- To raise £200–£300 for TASA.
When we had 70 people signed up back in February we polled them about pricing — would they insist on face value only, or were they okay with sellers making a profit if it meant we could find some tickets? If we were going to attract sellers from other countries, especially the US, then clearly a profit would be expected. The unanimous response was to allow sellers to ask for above face value.
We’ve since had 130+ tickets change hands, and no scams — mission accomplished so far.
We all applaud when a Scot sells to a fellow Scot without making a large profit, but at the end of the day if someone is willing to pay then that’s all that matters. We’re sure everyone here is also aware of the resale and market value.
To put it in perspective:
- A few eye-watering prices exist — but where there’s no profit, that’s down to FIFA.
- A lot of fans on here are making around £50 over face value.
- There are one or two making a larger percentage profit, but still charging less than market value.
In our opinion these are all acceptable — we wouldn’t have let them in otherwise. And we have turned tickets away.
Bottom line: if you don’t like the price, don’t buy it.
